This is the tea room Ren.

Every day we have guests from all over the world.

Recently, I noticed an interesting thing would like to share.

The assistant in tea house is a Chinese, so don’t have to say Chinese language, she can also be competent in both English and Japanese speaking. (of course, I only speak Japanese.)

Many guests visited us are from Asian countries, so it is every often to use Chinese, which is understandable.

However, there are also occasions when English speaking guests suddenly speak Chinese.

A few days ago, our tea house welcomed guests from Singapore and France who were working in Tokyo.

I know a lot of Singapore guests can communicate in Chinese. But, French guests also could speak Chinese!

Thus, I’m very surprised that Chinese can be used as a general purpose.

Maybe in the future, speaking Chinese is also good compared with speaking universal language English.
